Medium Mount

Medium Mount is needed when you have the need to keep the motor pinion higher respect to the standard mount. That could be for different reasons: the downtube is not perfectly straight, or you would like to install a larger chairing ( 36T or 42T)

The medium mount is recommended for fat bikes because you can install additional spacers to achieve a stiffer structure.
